Meryl Sundy, MD
Dr. Meryl Sundy is a managing partner at Infocus Eye Care. She joined in 2018 after completing her training at Casey Eye Institute at OHSU in Portland.
She provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataract surgery, including premium lens technologies. She manages a variety of eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.
Dr. Sundy graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in American Studies and French before departing for Senegal to spend two years teaching small business development techniques with the Peace Corps. She completed additional pre-medical training at Washington University in St. Louis, medical school at the University of Missouri and her internship in Internal Medicine with the Legacy Health System in Portland. She and her husband, Jonathan, creative director and illustrator, live in Bend with their two sons.
Dr. Sundy is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology.
